BEDFORD – February’s Park Program, on Tuesday, February 25, at 6:00 p.m., will be at the Wilson Park Shelter House at 2211 Denson Avenue in Bedford. Susan Sokeland hosts the program from Fit Chix, and it is a family-friendly program- everyone is invited.
This is a different location than most of our programs, at Wilson Shelter House, where there is more room to try out some fun group exercises for those who want to sample some activities to get in shape after the holidays.

Susan will start the program with essential fitness advice and suggestions on staying healthy at any age. She will talk about how to stay committed to your goals. Many of us may have abandoned New Year’s resolutions to exercise or diet. Susan will give us tips and says one key is making exercise fun and incorporating social activities into your exercise program.
Susan will give an overview of the programs offered at Fit Chix, but similar programs are available elsewhere. The idea is to participate in social activities and have fun staying fit. She encourages kids and men to come, too. She’ll include some demonstrations, with music and sticks, that anyone in the group who wishes to participate in. Susan said fitness isn’t just for women. Kids and teenagers have fun with the rhythm and music and enjoy the activities to stay in shape. She welcomes Fit Dudes to come join in as well.
Please RSVP for the program by February 24, so they know how many people to expect by calling 812-275-5692 or emailing aray@bedford.in.us.
