Culver’s plans to open in Bedford in June

BEDFORD – Construction is underway for a new Culver’s restaurant on John Williams Boulevard in Bedford. Franchise owner Scott Laskowski, who is developing the project with Meyer Foods Management, anticipates opening the restaurant by June, assuming the construction schedule stays on track.

Laskowski cited Bedford’s location and customer demand as key factors in choosing the site. The new location will join other regional Culver’s restaurants, including Bloomington, Jasper, and Seymour.

Meyer Foods Management, owned by Jeff Meyer and Neil Miller, brings extensive food industry experience to the project. Meyer’s background includes owning and operating 34 Culver’s restaurants, while Miller rose through the ranks at Culver’s to become part-owner of 30 locations.

The Bedford Culver’s is expected to employ approximately 80 people. Regular operating hours will be 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, with extended summer hours.

The menu will feature Culver’s signature ButterBurgers, fresh frozen custard, chicken sandwiches, salads, fries, and Wisconsin cheese curds.
