Chief Naval Officer Franchetti visits NSA Crane, highlights robotics, infrastructure, and talent

CRANE – Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Adm. Lisa Franchetti visited Naval Support Activity (NSA) Crane and Purdue University on Monday, February 10.

The visit focused on operations supporting her Navigation Plan for America’s Warfighting Navy.

Discussions and tours centered around key initiatives within the Navigation Plan, including Project 33, which aims to integrate robotic and autonomous systems operationally.

The CNO also explored opportunities for restoring critical infrastructure at the installation. A key component of the visit was addressing strategies for recruiting and retaining talented personnel within the Navy. The engagement highlighted the importance of NSA Crane’s contributions to the Navy’s mission and strategic goals.
