STATEHOUSE – Lieutenant Governor Micah Beckwith released the following statement today regarding SB 1:
“I am disappointed with the property tax bill that came out of committee this morning. However, I am optimistic, and there is still more time to give Hoosiers property tax relief. This is exactly what Governor Braun and I ran on last year, and property tax reform is what Hoosiers voted for and supported.“
The Lieutenant Governor serves as President of the Indiana Senate and leads the Indiana State Department of Agriculture and the Office of Community and Rural Affairs.
