KNOX CO. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces lane closures for U.S. 41 in Knox County
Beginning on or around Monday, February 24, crews will begin lane closures on U.S. 41 in Knox County near Oaktown. These lane closures will occur in both north and southbound passing lanes of U.S. 41 between Old U.S. 41 and Freelandville Road.

Lane closures will allow for a bridge deck replacement project on U.S. 41. This project will be done to the bridge spanning the CSX railroad tracks. Work will begin initially on the passing lanes. Once this portion of the project is complete, work will continue on the driving lanes. All work is expected to last through September, depending on the weather.
