Amel Kern, 78, of Williams, passed away on February 14, 2025, at his residence.
Born January 24, 1947, in Lawrence Co, he was the son of Kenneth A. and Maeda (Spreen) Kern. He married Candice “Candy” K. Doub on July 24, 1966. Amel was a contractor and a farmer. He was in the Army Reserve and National Guard and a member of the NRA.
Survivors include a son, Cory Kern of Williams; three grandchildren, Eli Kern, Kelsey Kendall, and Stacia Kern; one great-grandchild, Kayson; two nephews, David and Kenny Kern; two great-nephews, Peyton and Eli Kern; one great-niece, Kenna Kern; one brother, Roe Kern; and a sister-in-law, Sheila Kern.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a son, Stacey Kern, and a brother, Ed Kern.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25th, at the Bryantsville Church of Christ Cemetery, with Rev. Richard Tallman officiating. Burial will follow in the Bryantsville Church of Christ Cemetery.
