BLOOMINGTON—Join the Monroe County Democrats’ Club on February 18 for their luncheon, which will focus on Black Voices in the Arts and feature Professor Yvette Theresa Butler as a special guest.
The meeting will be held from 11:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at DeAngelo’s, 2630 East 3rd Street, Bloomington.
It features members from Resilience Productions, Inc., which is producing a play about Judge Viola Taliaferro’s life.
This month is also the MCDC’s membership drive. If interested in becoming a member, dues are $20—most of the revenue supports your Monroe County Democratic Party.
