BEDFORD—The Lawrence County Purdue Extension, in collaboration with Lawrence County Soil & Water and Lawrence County Keep Invasives in Check (KIC), is hosting a statewide workshop on invasive Callery pear on March 13 from 2 to 3 p.m.

This educational session will explore the tree’s introduction to the U.S., how it became an environmental concern, and what steps landowners and professionals can take to manage and prevent its spread.
The workshop will be available both in person and virtually, making it accessible to participants across Indiana. A QR code on the event flyer provides quick access to registration. You may also join the session using this link.
This program also qualifies for Commercial Applicator Credits (1 CCH) in categories 1, 2, 3a, 6, and RT. CCH credits are available upon request for both virtual and in-person attendees.
