
LOOGOOTEE – A second arrest has been made in connection with a shooting incident in Daviess County that left one man injured. The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department reports that 41-year-old Nathan Harmon has been arrested on drug-related charges following the incident.

Harmon was found on February 14th at a residence in the 15000 block of North Highway 231 in Loogootee with multiple gunshot wounds. He is now charged with:
- Dealing in methamphetamine
- Possession of a Schedule 2 controlled substance
- Possession of methamphetamine
- Possession of drug paraphernalia

Previously, authorities identified 35-year-old Alexander Carlquist as the suspect in the shooting. Carlquist fled the scene before law enforcement arrived but was apprehended the following day in Perry County after a search. Carlquist is charged with:
- burglary, with serious bodily injury
- burglary with a deadly weapon
- Battery with a deadly weapon
- Battery resulting in serious bodily injury
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
