Six arrested in Daviess County drug investigation

WASHINGTON– A narcotics investigation conducted on Tuesday, February 18, by the Washington Police Department, Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, and the DEA Task Force resulted in the arrests of six individuals on various drug charges.

The operation, which included multiple traffic stops and residential searches in Washington and Odon, yielded approximately one-half pound of methamphetamine, additional narcotics, and drug-related paraphernalia. Washington Police Department canine Fen, Daviess County Sheriff’s Office SRU, and the Indiana State Police assisted in the investigation.

The following individuals were arrested:

  • Nathan Harmon, 41, of Loogootee: Warrant for Dealing in Methamphetamine (from a previous Daviess County Sheriff’s Office investigation), new charges of Dealing in Methamphetamine, and various other narcotics-related charges.
  • Cody Brooks, 34, of Washington: Dealing in Methamphetamine.
  • Pamela Barnes, 41, of Washington: Dealing in Methamphetamine and various other narcotics-related charges.
  • Archie Walls, 52, of Princeton: Dealing in Methamphetamine.
  • Jennifer Sharp, 40, of Princeton: Dealing in Methamphetamine.
  • Brittany Mervyn, 38, of Odon: Maintaining a Common Nuisance and various other narcotics-related charges.

Those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
