The Star System Percussion uses instruments such as cymbals, marimbas, a synthesizer, a drum set, and a slide whistle. Their show contains various pieces of music commonly related to the circus. Each member dresses as a character you might find in a circus, such as a lion, a ringmaster, a mime, or a clown.

The Stars placed second out of the four groups that performed. They were only beaten out by the NorthWood Percussion Ensemble by 2.5 points, with BNL scoring 73 and NorthWood scoring 75.5. The Stars improved their score by 7.4 points from their last competition.
