The Star System Percussion places second at Decatur Central

INDIANAPOLIS – On Saturday, February 22nd, the Bedford North Lawrence (BNL) Star System Percussion group traveled to Decatur Central High School to perform their show “Welcome to Our Circus.”  They performed against three other bands in the concert class.

The Star System Percussion uses instruments such as cymbals, marimbas, a synthesizer, a drum set, and a slide whistle. Their show contains various pieces of music commonly related to the circus. Each member dresses as a character you might find in a circus, such as a lion, a ringmaster, a mime, or a clown.
