
JASPER– A Ferdinand man was arrested Monday afternoon after being pulled over with a blood alcohol level over three times the legal limit.
Jasper Police stopped 45-year-old Wesley Laake near the intersection of 13th and Newton Streets while responding to a report of a reckless driver.

Laake’s blood alcohol content was 0.254, significantly exceeding Indiana’s legal limit of .08.
He is charged with operating a vehicle while Intoxicated, OWI endangerment, and Operating While Intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of over 0.15.
