FRENCH LICK— French Lick Resort is expanding its golf facilities with the addition of a nine-hole course, event pavilion, and several cottages designed for group accommodations.
The new Ridgecreek Golf Course and Ridgeview Cottages will be built on high ground near the Klondike subdivision, where the resort is also developing homes. The two-year project will begin with Ridgecreek’s construction, followed by renovations to the existing Valley Links course.

Golf continues to grow as a major draw for the resort, which hosted a record 46,000 rounds in 2024, up from 34,000 in 2021. High-profile events, including the Korn Ferry Tour Championship and Good Good Golf Midwest Open, have increased national exposure, attracting players from beyond the Midwest.

With Ridgecreek’s completion, the resort will feature three 18-hole courses—Pete Dye, Donald Ross, and Ridgecreek—enhancing its appeal as a destination for extended golf trips. Cottages, a sought-after lodging option, are expected to open this summer.
A new short course, Sand Creek, is also set to debut May 1 near the Event Center and pickleball courts, with lights for night time play coming shortly after.
