BEDFORD– The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive on Monday, March 10, from noon to 5 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Christian Church, located at 2394 Mount Pleasant Road in Bedford.

Donors of all blood types are encouraged to participate to help meet the ongoing need for blood supplies. According to the Red Cross, each donation can save up to three lives, making every contribution vital for hospitals and patients in need.
Appointments are recommended but not required. To schedule a donation, individuals can call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit redcrossblood.org and enter the sponsor code “MTPLEASANTCC.”

The Red Cross emphasizes the importance of regular blood donations, particularly as blood supplies often decrease in the winter and early spring months. Donors must be at least 17 years old (or 16 with parental consent, where allowed by state law), weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good health.
For more information or to check eligibility requirements, visit the Red Cross website or contact the donation center directly.
