INDIANA – Anglers, don’t let the big one get away! With the current fishing license season closing on March 31, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) urges residents to renew their licenses for the 2025-26 season. Taking care of your renewal early will ensure a smooth transition into the new season, eliminating any last-minute scrambling and maximizing your time on the water. Plus, it’s a satisfying feeling to check one more task off your to-do list.
More importantly, your license purchase is vital in conserving Indiana’s diverse fish populations, wildlife, and natural habitats. The funds generated directly support crucial DNR initiatives that ensure these resources are protected and preserved for future generations.

“The early bird gets the worm, and in this case, the fish that ate the worm,” said a DNR spokesperson. “Renewing your license now means you’ll be ready to cast your line as soon as the new season begins, without any interruptions.”
Navigating the New Activity Hub:
To renew their licenses, all customers must access their accounts through the DNR’s new Activity Hub via Access Indiana. The login process will be seamless for those with existing Access Indiana accounts.
However, first-time users of the Activity Hub will need to locate their profile within the system and verify their personal information. Once this initial step is completed, subsequent logins will take you directly to your account page for easy renewals and management.

“We understand that new systems can sometimes be a little daunting, but we’ve worked hard to make the Activity Hub as user-friendly as possible,” the spokesperson added. “We encourage everyone to log in and familiarize themselves with the system before the March 31 deadline.”
Don’t let the opportunity slip away. Renew your Indiana fishing license today and contribute to preserving our state’s natural treasures while ensuring you’re ready for a season of successful angling.
