WEST LAFAYETTE— Ladies, prepare to answer the call of the wild! Registration for the highly anticipated annual Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW) workshop opens on Friday, March 1. The workshop offers women aged 18 and older the chance to learn essential outdoor skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.
This year’s immersive BOW workshop will take place from May 2-4 at the scenic Ross Camp in West Lafayette, providing a picturesque backdrop for a weekend of adventure and learning.

The BOW program is specifically designed to empower women to confidently explore and enjoy the outdoors. Participants can select four hands-on activities from a diverse roster of over two dozen offerings. Whether you’re a novice or have some experience, there’s something for everyone.
Aspiring anglers can learn the art of fishing, while those with a steady hand can try their aim at archery. Participants can also delve into navigation with geocaching, hone their observation skills with wildlife tracking, experience the thrill of shooting muzzleloader firearms, or master the art of cooking delicious meals in the great outdoors.
“The Becoming an Outdoors-Woman workshop provides a fantastic opportunity for women to step outside their comfort zones and discover new passions,” said a representative from the program. “We strive to create a relaxed, low-pressure atmosphere where participants can learn from experienced instructors and connect with like-minded individuals.”
Don’t miss this chance to embark on an unforgettable outdoor adventure. Mark your calendars for March 1 and be ready to register for the Becoming an Outdoors-Woman workshop. Spaces are limited, so early registration is encouraged.
