INDIANA– Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. (Sumitomo) has issued a recall for certain Dunlop GPR-300F motorcycle tires due to a manufacturing defect that could lead to sudden air loss and an increased risk of crashes.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), recall ID number 25T002, the affected tires, size 110/73R17M/C 54H, may have a defect causing inner liner bulging and looseness at the tire breaker edge. This defect results in the tires failing to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 119, “New Pneumatic Tires- Other than Passenger Cars.”
