MITCHELL—Motorists who travel Stumphole Bridge Road should be aware that the road will be temporarily closed today for culvert replacement.
Stumphole Bridge Road will be closed between Grandma Brown Road and US 50 West while crews work to replace the culvert.
The Lawrence County Highway Department has announced that the culvert replacement will be completed today, and the road is expected to reopen by 3:00 p.m.
Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes during the closure. Please plan your travel accordingly and exercise caution in the area.
