ORLEANS – Entries are still being accepted for the 2025 Orleans Dogwood Festival Pageant, but organizers are reminding potential contestants that the deadline is rapidly approaching.
The pageant will be held Saturday, April 19, at the Orleans Elementary School Gymnasium. Little Miss categories will begin at 1 p.m., followed by the Jr. Miss and Queen categories at 5 p.m.
Applications are due by Friday, March 21. Fundraiser money is due by April 12 at 6 p.m. Headshot fees and application fees must be submitted with applications on March 21.
This year’s Jr. Miss category is open to girls ages 13-16, and the Queen category is for young women ages 17-22. The older categories will feature four on-stage events: Interview Wear, Fun Fashion Wear, Festival Wear, and Evening Gown.
A mandatory first practice for the Jr. Miss and Queen contestants is scheduled for Saturday, March 29, at 6 p.m. in the Orleans Elementary School Gymnasium. Headshots will also be taken by Kara Lee of Nostalgic by Kara Lee on March 29.
