BLOOMINGTON—The City of Bloomington Volunteer Network is asking the community to nominate outstanding volunteers and groups for the prestigious 2025 Be More Awards. These awards celebrate individuals and organizations making a significant positive impact in Bloomington and Monroe County.

If you know a dedicated volunteer or group that goes above and beyond to serve the community, now is your chance to recognize their contributions. Nominations are being accepted for eight award categories, highlighting exceptional service in social impact, the arts, youth engagement, leadership, and lifetime service.
Each award recipient will receive a $1,000 grant for their designated nonprofit organization, made possible by the generous support of the Community Foundation of Bloomington and Monroe County. This financial contribution will further empower these deserving individuals and organizations to continue their vital work.
The nomination period is open and will run until March 31, 2025. The honorees will be celebrated at a special Be More Awards ceremony on April 29th at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater.
Everyone in the community is encouraged to take this opportunity to recognize the incredible volunteers who make Bloomington and Monroe County a better place. These awards are a testament to the power of volunteerism and its positive impact on the community.
