CARMEL — The cost of a work-related injury – factoring in medical expenses, wages, and the challenges of reduced productivity – is roughly $40,000. An upcoming Indiana Chamber of Commerce event aims to equip businesses with strategies to help prevent injuries and maintain low workers’ compensation premium rates. The 2025 Indiana Workers’ Compensation Conference will take place April 23 in Carmel with a virtual attendance option.

The event will also include a roundtable discussion with Kightlinger & Gray attorneys, an overview of the Worker’s Compensation Board of Indiana website, and instructions on accessing resources.
