MORGAN CO. – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor E&B Paving, Inc. plans to begin bridge rehabilitation work on State Road 44 over West Fork Clear Creek on or after Monday, March 31, in Morgan County.
Work will occur on State Road 44, approximately 1.2 miles east of I-69,, and, weather permitting, it is expected to be complete in early July.
Temporary traffic signals will be utilized while work is in progress. Signage will be placed in the area prior to the start of construction.
This work is part of a $5.2 million contract awarded to E&B in March 2024. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, be cautious, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
