Betty M. Figg, 79, of Bedford, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born October 22, 1945, in Washington D.C., to Fred T. and Leotta B. (Decker) Hurst, she was a homemaker.
She married Terrel J. Figg on November 29, 1970, and they shared 54 happy years.
Betty is survived by her husband, Terrel J. Figg of Bedford, and three sons, William (Sharon) Hurst of Bloomington, Jason (Denise) Baird of Bedford, and James (Heather) Figg of Bedford. Grandchildren Gaje Hurst, Ava Hurst, Cameron Hurst, Maya Hurst, Ariel (Stephen) Easton, Kaleb (Leydi) Figg, Maddy Figg, and four great-grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Leotta Hurst, her brother, James K. Hurst, and her in-laws.
Cremation was chosen.
Cresthaven Funeral Home is entrusted with Betty’s care.
