Lance Michael Thomas, 36, of Springville, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2025, at Floyd Baptist Health in New Albany.
Born on October 17, 1988, he was the son of Danny R. and Tammy L. Thomas. He was a long-time delivery driver for Papa John’s Pizza in Bedford and enjoyed visiting amusement parks, listening to music, and video gaming. He was an avid movie buff and had an exceptional memory of actors, actresses, and movie information. Lance loved spending time with his girlfriend, Alyssia Fields, and they thoroughly enjoyed playing with and caring for their many dogs while being together.
Lance is survived by his parents, his brother Barry Ryan II of Bedford, his sister Jessica Bunch of Bedford, his brother Danny Thomas Jr. of Ellettsville, and his brother Blake Carlisle of Springville.
He has a large extended surviving family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He will be missed by many and remembered by all who knew him as a kind and gentle person with compassion and love abounding.
A celebration of Lance’s life will be announced at a later date.
