BEDFORD— The Men’s Warming Shelter is asking for donations to replace a damaged awning after heavy storms over the weekend.
The awning provided essential protection for people who regularly gather outside the shelter while waiting for the bus or for SPIN to open. It offered shade from the sun and shelter from the rain. The shelter stated that replacing the awning is an expense beyond its current budget.
