LOOGOOTEE—Due to the temporary closure of the Loogootee Post Office, Loogootee residents who use post office boxes will need to pick up their mail at the Washington Post Office.
Postal officials stress that this is a temporary measure and ask for understanding from the community. They also highlight the efforts of the Washington Post Office staff in assisting with the situation and urge residents to treat them with kindness.
Officials reminded the community that the closure was due to circumstances outside of their control.
