ORLEANS—The Town of Orleans has officially proclaimed Friday, March 21, as Orleans Bulldogs Day in recognition of the Orleans High School boys’ basketball team’s outstanding achievements this season.
The Bulldogs captured both the 2024-2025 IHSAA Class 1A Basketball Sectional 62 and the 2024-2025 IHSAA Class 1A Basketball Regional titles, bringing pride and excitement to the Orleans community.
Orleans secured the sectional championship on March 8 with a hard-fought victory over North Daviess. The team followed up with another impressive performance on March 15, defeating Christian Academy to claim the regional crown.
Residents are encouraged to wear red and black on Friday to celebrate Orleans Bulldogs Day and to show their pride for the team.
The proclamation reflects the town’s strong support for its student-athletes and the positive impact the team’s success has had on the Orleans community.
