Raymond D. Sexton 72 of Bedford passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Bedford.
Raymond was born on May 15, 1952, in Louisville, KY to Raymond L. Sexton and Tillie (Wooten) Sexton Jones.
Raymond was a graduate of Bedford High School and graduated from the Police Academy in 1979.
Raymond was a police officer in Bedford, Paoli, and Orleans Indiana and he was the manager of the Bedford Airport for several years.
Surviving Raymond is his son Raymond III (Autumn) Sexton, Sister Barbara Mundy, and Brothers, Rubin, Herbert, and Tommy (Mary) Jones.
He is also survived by 2 granddaughters and 2 great-grandchildren.
Preceding Raymond in death are his father Raymond L. Sexton, mother Tillie Jones, stepdad Herbert Jones, sister-in-law Tina Jones and niece Everly Faith Schoolcraft.
Cremation was chosen and Cresthaven Funeral Home is entrusted with Raymond’s care.
