
ORLEANS– Get ready to celebrate spring in style! Entries are now being accepted for the 55th Annual Orleans Dogwood Parade, a cherished community tradition set to take place on Saturday, April 26th, at 2 p.m.
This year’s parade theme, “Dogwoods Thrive in 2025,” promises a vibrant and colorful display of creativity as participants showcase their interpretations in various categories, including floats, political entries, walking groups, equestrian units, classic and antique vehicles, and bands.

The parade will commence from Orleans Jr-Sr. High School, located on the north edge of town, traditionally serves as the staging area. Line-up for the parade will begin at 11 a.m. and continue until 1 p.m., with judging of the units commencing at approximately 1 p.m.
The parade route will follow Maple Street (State Road 37) and wind through the historic downtown area of Orleans, offering spectators a delightful afternoon of community spirit and entertainment.
Entry forms for the parade are now available. They can be obtained by visiting the official Dogwood Festival website at www.orleansdogwoodfestival.com. Entry forms are also available inside The Orleans Progress Examiner and at the Orleans Town offices.
