LAWRENCE CO. – Motorists traveling on Davey Cox Road should be aware of a temporary road closure scheduled for culvert replacement on Wednesday.
The Lawrence County Highway Department has announced that a section of Davey Cox Road, between 259 Davey Cox Road and 326 Davey Cox Road, will be closed to traffic.
The closure will be effective between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to allow highway department crews to replace a failed culvert safely.
The road is expected to reopen to traffic at the end of the work day.
Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes during the closure hours, and local residents in the immediate area should plan accordingly.
