BNL’s Matson invited to Top 60 Workout

BNL senior Patric Matson has been selected to compete in the Top 60 Workout on Sunday.

BEDFORD – Bedford North Lawrence senior Patric Matson has been selected to participate in the annual Hoosier Basketball Magazine Top 60 Workout on Sunday at Marian University in Indianapolis.

The workout, held in conjunction with the IHSAA and Indiana Basketball Coaches Association, will be divided into two sessions (1-3 p.m. for athletes in northern and southern Indiana, 3:30-5:30 for players from central Indiana). Guerin Catholic coach Bobby Allen will conduct both sessions.

Matson, an IU Kokomo recruit, averaged 19.7 points per game for the Stars this season. He finished with 883 career points.

The Top 60 is the final part of the selection process for the Indiana All-Stars.

Other players of note who were selected include the Jeffersonville trio of Tre Singleton, Michael Cooper and P.J. Douglas, Orleans’ Rylan Crocker, Paoli’s Fletcher Cole, Brownstown’s Chace Coomer, Jennings County’s Carter Kent, Bloomington North’s Luke Lindeman, and Bloomington South’s Vince Moutardier.

Both sessions are open to the public ($9).
