Weed Wrangles: Combat Invasive Garlic Mustard

Join the fight against invasive garlic mustard and learn how to identify, control, and properly dispose of this problematic plant. By participating, you’ll directly contribute to preserving native species in our local ecosystems.

Jackson Creek Cleanup: Keep Our Waterways Clean

Help keep Jackson Creek litter-free by joining our Earth Week Creek Cleanup at Rogers Family Park. Volunteers will work to remove debris and invasive species from the creek, ensuring a healthier habitat for local wildlife. Trash bags and gloves will be provided.

Arbor Day Tree Planting: Green Up Olcott Park

Celebrate Arbor Day by assisting Urban Forestry staff in planting trees at Olcott Park. This hands-on experience will allow volunteers to contribute to the park’s greenery while learning about the importance of trees in our community. Gloves and shovels will be provided. Please wear sturdy shoes and clothes suitable for getting muddy.

Volunteer at the Children’s Expo, a valuable resource for parents seeking informational, educational, and recreational opportunities for school-aged children. Volunteers are needed for setup, exhibitor check-in, activities, event support, and teardown.
