JACKSON CO. – The Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Force Construction Company is scheduled to close State Road 250 near Uniontown on or after Monday, April 7, to complete a culvert replacement project in Jackson County.
The closure will occur between South County Road 1025 East and US 31 and, weather permitting, will be completed in mid-May. During the closure, motorists should use the official detour, which follows US 31 to US 50 to State Road 11.
This project is part of a $1.3 million contract awarded to Force Construction in September 2024. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, be cautious, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
