Seth Michael Trowbridge, 41, of Bedford, passed away at 6:17 a.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at his residence.
Born January 16, 1984, in Ft. Benning, GA, he was the son of James, Connie Edwards, Larry ‘Mike’ Michael, and Janet Trowbridge. He retired as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army. He served primarily with the 112th Airborne Signal Battalion at Ft. Bragg, NC, and served two combat tours in Iraq. After retiring, he worked as a military contractor with Lockheed Martin and was a senior service manager for Cat & Ryder.
Survivors include three sons, Gunnar Trowbridge of Martinsville, Braxton Wagner of Judah, and Landyn Kline, of Martinsville; his parents, James and Connie Edwards, of Bedford, Larry and Janet Trowbridge, of Alabama; his maternal grandmother, Wilma Godsey, of Bedford; his paternal grandmother, Beverly Trowbridge, of Bedford; two brothers, Cody Trowbridge, of Bedford and Kyle Edwards (Crystal), of Orleans; two sisters, Jennifer Livingston (Johnson) of Orleans and Amanda Kline (Eric) of Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.
His Poppy, Dennis Trowbridge, and his Pappaw, Ivan Godsey, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 28th, in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary, with Pastor Bryan Line officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded by Gillen Post #33 American Legion members. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
