
ORLEANS—The Orleans Dogwood Festival is calling on all adorable babies from Orange County to participate in its annual Baby Contest. The charming event will be held on Monday, April 21st, at the Orleans High School Cafeteria.
The contest will feature several age categories, each starting promptly at the listed time. No late entries will be accepted. There is an $8 registration fee per child, payable in cash only, with the requested amount.
Winners will be announced immediately following each category, and their photos will be taken for publication in the Progress Examiner.
The contest is open to Orange County residents, and the age categories and start times are as follows:
- 6:00 PM: Boys & Girls 0-5 months
- 6:15 PM: Boys & Girls 6-11 months
- 6:30 PM: Boys & Girls 12-17 months
- 6:45 PM: Boys & Girls 18-23 months
- 7:00 PM: Boys & Girls 2 years
- 7:15 PM: Boys & Girls 3-4 years
Judging will be based on attire, personality, appearance, and interaction with the judges.
