BEDFORD—Bedford North Lawrence (BNL) High School has announced plans for a virtual summer school program in 2025, which will offer students the opportunity to earn up to two credits.
The program, scheduled to run from June 2nd to July 16th, will provide students with the flexibility of virtual coursework, culminating in an in-person final exam. BNL highlights the program as a valuable opportunity for students to recover missed credits or earn advanced credits to create space for elective courses during the regular school year.
According to the school’s announcement, detailed information about available courses will be released on Monday, March 31st. Registration for the summer school program will open the following week, on Monday, April 7th.
The announcement indicates that the summer school program, branded as “BNL Summer School 2025,” will be conducted virtually, except for the final exam.
The school’s summer program aims to provide students with academic flexibility and opportunities for credit recovery or advancement. Virtual learning options have become increasingly prevalent in education, offering students alternative pathways to academic success.
