Bedford Public Library to host tree giveaway

BEDFORD — The Bedford Public Library will host a tree giveaway on Friday, April 25th, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event, open to all ages, will provide community members with free trees.

The library is promoting the event as a community initiative, encouraging residents to participate in planting and beautifying the local area. The giveaway aims to provide an opportunity for individuals to contribute to environmental sustainability.

The library’s announcement did not specify the types of trees being offered. Residents are encouraged to visit the library during the event hours to receive their free tree.

The event comes as many communities are focusing on environmental initiatives and promoting tree planting for its numerous benefits, including air purification and habitat creation. Public libraries often host community events as part of their outreach programs.
