Mary Alice Burton, 89, of Orleans, passed away at 3:25 AM on March 27, 2025, at Springs Valley Meadows.
She was born on March 12, 1936, in Orleans, IN, the daughter of Bert and Evelyn (McBride) Gray.
She was a member of Mt. Horeb Baptist Church. She enjoyed flowers, golf, antiques, and watching grandchildren play basketball. She was a supervisor at Cortron and Travelers for several years. Mary Alice was an avid Donald Trump supporter. She is survived by one daughter, Tammy Tolbert (Larry “Wid”) of Orleans; one son-in-law, John Love of Orleans; six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and another on the way; one sister, Arlene (Randy) Stevens.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leroy Burton; one daughter, Diane Love; and one son, Kim Burton.
The funeral will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at the Ochs-Tetrick Funeral Home in Orleans, with Pastor Jim Tritle officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Horeb Cemetery, Orleans. Friends are invited to visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until service time.
