ORLEANS – Orleans town crews are continuing their efforts this week to clear storm damage debris from residential areas. Residents are asked to place all storm-related items curbside or adjacent to the street for easy collection.
Town officials request patience from residents as crews work systematically through the town, street by street. Due to the significant volume of debris, residents who can transport materials are encouraged to take them directly to the town lake area for disposal.
The gate at the town lake will be open throughout the coming week specifically for storm debris disposal.
Residents are reminded that only limbs, brush, and yard debris will be accepted. No other discarded items are permitted. The lake area is under 24/7 surveillance.
Town officials appreciate the cooperation of residents as they work to restore the town to its pre-storm condition.
