COLUMBUS – Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department Capt. Chris Roberts recently graduated from the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.

Roberts serves as the captain of criminal investigations for the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office.
Last week, 244 law enforcement officers graduated from the prestigious FBI National Academy. The academy is known for its rigorous 10-week program that includes advanced communication, leadership, and fitness training. To be eligible for the program, participants must have demonstrated a strong record of professional achievement within their respective agencies.
Sheriff Chris Lane extended his congratulations to Roberts, noting that his experience as a graduate of the National Academy has shown him “the benefit of attending this academy and the quality of the instruction given to the attendees.”
Lane expressed confidence that Roberts will be an invaluable asset to the community for many years.
