MITCHELL – The Mitchell High School/Middle School (MHS/MJHS) Winter Guard will conclude its season with a community performance and fundraising event on Sunday, April 6, organizers announced.
The free event, open to the public, will feature the guard’s final show of the season, a performance showcasing their skills and routines. Doors open at 2:30 p.m., with the show beginning at 3:00 p.m. in the MHS gymnasium.
In addition to the final performance, the event will include a “Veterans vs. Newbies” segment. Winter Guard members have partnered with individuals outside the Guard, including parents, teachers, and friends, to teach them a routine. These “newbies” will perform against other groups in a friendly competition.
Following the performances, attendees can participate in a cash vote, with each vote costing $1.00. The funds raised will support the Winter Guard program.
