I-69 in Daviess County closed due to high water

DAVIESS CO. – Authorities have announced the closure of Interstate 69 in Daviess County due to hazardous high-water conditions affecting the roadway.

The Indiana State Police (ISP) have implemented the following detours for motorists:

  • I-69 Southbound Closure: Traffic is being diverted at State Road 58 East, then to US 231 South, and finally to US 50 West to rejoin I-69.
  • I-69 Northbound Closure: Traffic is being diverted at US 50 East, then to US 231 North, and finally to State Road 58 West to rejoin I-69.

Motorists traveling through Daviess County are strongly advised to seek alternate routes and avoid the affected stretch of I-69.
