BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY- Louisville and Indiana Railroad plans to temporarily close westbound State Road 46 (3rd Street) tomorrow for railroad crossing repairs in Columbus.
On or after Saturday, April 12, westbound S.R. 46 will close to traffic between Lindsey Street and State Road 11 (Jonesville Pike) in Columbus. Weather permitting, westbound S.R. 46 is expected to reopen on the morning of Sunday, April 13. The detour will follow Lindsey Street to 2nd Street to S.R. 46 eastbound to U.S. 31 to C.R. 400 S to S.R. 11 to S.R. 46.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, be cautious, and avoid distractions in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
