Mark your calendars for the 105th Bedford Chamber’s Annual Dinner on October 8th

BEDFORD – Mark your Calendars for the 105th Bedford Chamber’s Annual Dinner on October 8th at the Lawrence County Fairground’s 4-H Expo Hall.

Nominations are also open for the Bedford Chamber’s Beautification and Community Service Awards.

If you know of a business that has made improvements to its physical appearance and you feel they deserve to be recognized, please submit a nomination for them for the 2021 Business Beautification Award. Last year’s winner was Jenkins Park, created by Bedford Federal Savings Bank. Nominations should include the name of the business, a description of the work that was done to the property, and images of the improvement (if available).

Do you know someone who has gone above and beyond the normal duties of citizenship for this community? If you do, please consider nominating them for the 2021 Community Service Award. The past 5 winners include Susan Miller, Bill Morris, Joseph W. Elliott, Steve Warren, and Gene McCracken.

Letters of nomination should include details about the nominee’s work and volunteerism, as well as their contact information. 

 Nominations for the 2021 Community Service and Business Beautification Awards should be submitted to the Bedford Chamber by September 17th. Please email nominations to member@bedfordchamber.com or drop them off at the Chamber, located at 1116 16th Street, Bedford.
