BEDFORD – Firefighters rescue a man from a bucket truck Monday after the hydraulic line malfunctioned.
Mike Price, the owner of Free Spirit Campground at Erie Church Road and State Road 446 was using the bucket truck to trim trees.
Firefighters from Shawswick Volunteer Fire Department responded. They then requested Bedford Fire Department to respond with their ladder truck, but it was down for scheduled maintenance. Firefighters requested Marion Township VFD to respond and they made the rescue. Price was able to walk from the bucket truck down the ladder truck to safety.
