Gov. Holcomb makes appointments to various boards and commissions

INDIANA — Governor Eric J. Holcomb today announced several appointments to various state boards and commissions including Jerry Roach, of Orleans, to the Board of Safety Review.

Jerry Roach

Board of Safety Review

The governor made one new appointment to the board, who will serve until July 31, 2025:

  • Jerry Roach (Orleans), director of safety, health, environmental, and facilities for Kimball Electronics

Board of Tax Review

The governor made one reappointment to the full-time board, who will serve until December 31, 2026:

  • Jonathan Elrod (Indianapolis)

Board of Trustees of Ball State University

The governor made two reappointments to the board, who will serve until December 31, 2026:

  • Henry Hall (Fort Wayne), president/CEO of Skytech Products Group
  • Rick Hall (Carmel), partner at Barnes & Thornburg LLP

Coroners Training Board

The governor made one new appointment to the board, who will serve at the pleasure of the Governor:

  • E. Jon Brandenberger (Fort Wayne), Allen County Coroner

Election Division

The governor made two reappointments to serve as the full-time co-directors of the division, who will serve until December 31, 2026:

  • Bradley King (Indianapolis)
  • Angela M. Nussmeyer (Indianapolis)

Judicial Nominating Commission for the Indiana Supreme Court & Court of Appeals

The governor made one new appointment to the commission, who will serve until December 31, 2025:

  • Molly Kitchell (Zionsville), representing appellate District 1

Meridian Street Preservation Commission

The governor made two reappointments to the commission, who will serve until June 30, 2024:

  • Robert Bennett (Indianapolis), representing historic preservation interests
  • Ed Fujawa (Indianapolis), representing the Butler-Tarkington Neighborhood Association

The governor also made three new appointments to the commission:

  • Nick Colby (Indianapolis), representing the Meridian-Kessler Neighborhood Association, will serve until June 30, 2024.
  • Allie Madden (Indianapolis), representing Meridian Street homeowners, will serve until June 30, 2024.
  • Michael Welling (Indianapolis), representing the Warfleigh Neighborhood Association, will serve until June 30, 2023.

Midwest Interstate Passenger Rail Compact Commission

The governor made one new appointment to the commission, who will serve until December 31, 2024:

  • Steven Coxhead (Hammond), president of the Indiana Passenger Rail Alliance

Statewide Child Fatality Review Committee

The governor made three new appointments to the committee, who will serve at the pleasure of the Governor:

  • Angela Comsa (Schererville), representing mental healthcare providers
  • Jason Murrey (Indianapolis), representing the Department of Education
  • Michael Sharp (St. John), representing emergency medical services providers

Veterans Affairs Commission

The governor made one new appointment to the commission, who will serve at the pleasure of the Governor:

  • Morgan Torres (Lafayette), director of the Veteran Success Center at Purdue University
