BEDFORD – On Thursday, Feb. 16, Blake May, of Bedford, was sentenced to 12 years in the Indiana Department of Corrections by Judge Robert Cline in Lawrence County Superior Court II as part of a negotiated plea agreement with the State of Indiana.
May was arrested in July of 2022 for dealing in a narcotic drug a level 2 Felony, possession of a narcotic drug a Level 4 felony, and possession of marijuana a Class A misdemeanor.
“Mr. May accepted the consciences of his action and showed great remorse. Which resulted in the plea agreement that was given to him additionally Mr. May is being given the opportunity to seek out long-term sobriety to become a productive member of the community upon his release from Indiana Department of Corrections.” Said Lawrence County Prosecutor Samuel Arp.
