BARTHOLOMEW CO. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that contractors will close State Road 58 about two miles west of I-65 near Walesboro beginning on or after Monday, March 13 to complete a small structure replacement project. The closure is expected to last through late April, weather permitting.
The official detour follows S.R. 58 to S.R. 258 to S.R. 11 to I-65.
This contract was awarded to Milestone Contractors, L.P. for $2.7 million and also includes two superstructure replacements on S.R. 58 near Spraytown in Jackson County.
Motorists are reminded to slow down, use extra caution and drive distraction-free in and near all work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
