BEDFORD – A Bedford man was arrested on burglary and theft charges on Saturday, April 1 after Bedford Police officers were alerted to a crime at 1402 Hillcrest Road.
When police arrived a man reported that 30-year-old Jordan Bell broke into his home through a back window. The homeowners had security camera photos of the incident. In the video, police could see Bell going through the house and then leaving with a shirt.
Other police officers had detained Bell at the Sunoco station at 16th Street and Hillcrest Road.
Bell admitted to entering the home and stealing a shirt saying he needed something warm to wear.
Bell was detained on charges of burglary and theft.
