BEDFORD – A Bedford woman was arrested Tuesday after Bedford Police officers responded to two different incidents of someone entering vehicles without permission.
Police arrested 48-year-old Brandi Taylor, of Bedford, on two counts of unlawful entry to a motor vehicle and criminal trespass
According to Bedford Police Captain Dakoda Emmons, the first incident happened at 5:41 p.m. and the second incident was reported at 7:45 p.m.
According to police, a male reported Taylor had walked to a male’s vehicle and asked if she could go with him. The male told Taylor no and attempted to lock his doors but Taylor was able to get into the vehicle.
During the second call, police found Taylor standing next to a white Honda Civic. The caller reported Taylor got into the caller’s vehicle and refused to get out.
Taylor was detained and transported to IU Health Hospital for a medical evaluation. Police say Taylor was uncooperative and refused medical treatment. She was then transported to jail.
